Wimbledon Championship 2011 finals will be filmed in 3D


Wimbledon Championship 2011 finals will be filmed in 3D, 3D and high definition 3D world worth living in mainstream cinemas.

Sony and the All England Tennis Club partnership, which is very comprehensive as a big swanky 3D you do not need TV to get in on the process, will only see a movie ticket is announced.

Sony will produce the men’s semi-finals, finals and women’s finals in High Definition 3D as the official supplier of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships. Interest to 3D cinema chains around the world to encourage the 3D tennis, media high surveillance, their theater distribution will work with partners.

Ian Ritchie, Chief Executive of The All England Lawn Tennis Club, said, "Wimbledon is renowned for its heritage and sense of tradition. At the same time we are always looking for ways to improve the presentation of The Championships by successfully blending that tradition with innovation. We are delighted that our 3D partnership with Sony will not only guarantee we are at the cutting edge of live sporting television, but also deliver a compelling new viewing experience for our global audiences, especially amongst our younger supporters."

Horrible, terrible, awful, I can't stand 3D. Motion pictures don't have much effects. Thanks for sharing the info, I will watch the finals on 2D. Or I will wear some 2D glasses, or...I don't know any more. These people are taking away the joy for the finals.
