Australian tennis star Patrick Rafter has entered Tomic to dump World No.2 Novak Djokovic out of Wimbledon Championship

Former Australian tennis star Patrick Rafter has entered teenager Bernard Tomic to dump World No.2 Novak Djokovic out of Wimbledon Championship.

The 29th seed Nikolay Davydenko of Australia knocked out fifth seed Robin Soderling and is to reach the quarter-finals.

The Sun quoted Rafter, as saying, “Bernard keeps surprising me. He has had a few matches I didn’t think he was really ready for, but he has been very successful”.

He added, “He is a kid you never write off and I give him a very good chance. Nothing would surprise me”.

Only Boris Becker, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg have made the last eight at a younger age than Tomic.
